On the official PWA World Tour website has written a gigantic report about the PWA event in Alacati. Antoine Albeau secured his postition in the tour and is 100% sure he will be the champion this year. With only 1 event it’s not possible to overtake him.

The next PWA World Cup event will be in Sylt Germany from the 25th of September until the 5th of October.

Josh Angulo also has posted a very complete report about the event. It’s great to read how positive he is about the dutch windsurfers Markus Bouman and Dennis Littel, who are also part of the MauiSails team.

The fourth PWA World Cup in Alacati will be held from the 11th until the 16th of August. The organizers managed to get a lot of big windsurfers to this event, like:

• Antoine albeau (nr. 1)
• Kevin Pritchard (nr. 2)
• Bjorn Dunkerbeck (nr. 3)
• Cyril Moussilmani (nr. 4)
• Peter Volwater (nr. 5) (Peter is in shape this season!)

Micah Buzianis is not capable of defending his current position in the tour due to a broken leg.

The riders will be competing for the last (slalom) points on the 2008 tour since Sylt will be the only event after Alacati.

The  wind forecast for the event is great. No pounding winds but a good breeze to do some serious racing. Kevin Pritchard writes on his blog that he is ready for the challenge.
