Mistral told in an press release that they and Anders Bringdal have reach an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement for windsurf boards. As result a new generation of Mistral boards will be produced. Anders Bringdal is a four times world champion windsurfer and he doesn’t look bad on the speed tracks as well .

Mistral is hoping that the can bring new life to the Mistal brand as they did with the sponsoring of Robby Naish 33 years ago. Boards & More will lose their license since this deal is an exclusive one with bringdal.

The new of Mistral boards can be expected at the end of November. A series of slalom boards will be made and also a board purely focused on longdistance GPS Speedsurfing and a pure GPS Speedboard. In total we can expect about 14 different boards. His own board line, AB Boards, will probably ceace to exits. Let’s see what Anders will bring us!

Mistral Windsurf has put a fresh website online with all the new windsurf gear for 2009. They also released a promotional video with all there talented team riders.

The movie Mistral Committed Reloaded is featuring PWA World Champion Marcilio Brawzinho Browne (BRA-105), Diony Guadagnino (V-69), Francisco Porcella (I-69) and windsurf legend Nik Baker (K-66). Those riders show how windsurfing has to be done.

If you wanted to download the movie you had to leave some personal info. But after leaving my information the only thing I got was a broken download link.

After surfing around on the Internet I found a working link to the movie. Lets hope that this issue will be resolved quickly. There is also a big spelling error in the new Mistral website. Committed is spelled with two T’s on the cover but on the site it is written with only one T… Check the images.

The video is well produced and is filled with great action. I am also pleased with the music supporting the images. A lot of movies that are released have the most crappy music behind the action parts, luckily that is not the case in this movie.
