The upcoming events prove that windsurfing is hot in that region of the world. But we all know that already! Beautiful weather, amazing spots and trade winds. Can you ask for more? Probably not.

Master of the Caribbean

Master of the CaribbeanRed Bull is organizing a special race called “Master of the Caribbean”. The concept is simple: who will be the fastest windsurfer during the deep sea crossing, between the islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique?

Only 7 windsurfer will compete for the title. Among them are also Antoine Albeau and Peter Volwater.

The crossing will take place on the 2nd to the 9th of March 2010.

Curacao Challenge

Curacao Challenge Slalom & Freestyle eventAfter last year’s spectacular success, the organizers of the Curacao Challenge Slalom and Freestyle windsurfing competition, planned an even bigger and better event. This time, from the 1st – 6th of April 2010.

The event will be held at the Seaquarium Beach and the Spanish waters. You can sign up now.

Children of the Wind

The  Caribbean also has a lot of talented windsurfers, especially on Bonaire. How can it be that such a small island with 13.000 people dominates the world professional rankings in freestyle?

That’s the main question in the new upcoming movie called “Children of the Wind”. Check out the trailer:
